SQUID IT PASTA FOR BETTER DAYS

by Kristin

Its an extraordinary choice to flavor it up.

The world’s love affair with pasta is one of a kind and my life would be incomplete to live without pasta. It’s my comfort food to dive deep and let the flavors guide my journey. Nonetheless if I want to feel comfortable or feel uncomfortable, pasta is my friend and lifts me up in those moments. Its satisfies the hunger fast, gives me energy to perform and helps  accommodate jet lags better.

This recipe is a mix of what my mom made with a twist from when I travelled in Australia along the coast to explore the country side, wineries and restaurants.

Here is what we need.

Ingredients

  • pasta (goes well with any type of long thing pasta like spaghetti, fettuccini… )

  • squid

  • butter, olive oil

  • salt & pepper

  • bread crumps

  • fresh parsely

  • lemon

We cook the pasta al dente or how you prefer it. Prepare a small bowl with bread crumps and a little bit of salt. Cut the squid in rings and mingle them together with the bread crumps. Turn the heat on with butter, ghee or olive oil and fry the breaded squid goldfish brown. Heat up some butter until the butter turns into a light brownish color. We will add this at the end on the meal.

Ones the pasta is ready, serve it on a plate or in a bowl, add the breaded squid and top it off with fresh parsley, butter/oil and lemon.
