PASTA CARBONARA – SHINE IN STYLE

by Kristin

Good food consistently pleases us.

Who can say the same thing about your partner? We are hungry many times during the day, and good food is there to satisfy our needs.

Not only is food life sustaining, but it often joins us as couples, family and friends. It brings people together to make memories.

Good ideas start in the kitchen and what I noticed, food doesn’t talk back.  She’s a giver. Food will not reject you when you smell or feel tired or you’re in a bad mood. She’s there to do her thing. To satisfy.

I like original, Italian cuisine is in my top 5. This pasta carbonara is my number one, easy & quick to make in less than 9 minutes.

Especially when I’m have jet lag I make sure to eat a good portion to satisfy my hunger for the night.

This is what we need.

Ingredients

  • pasta

  • eggs

  • parmesan cheese

  • bacon or vegan bacon

  • onions

  • olive oil

  • salt & pepper

  • lemon

  • fresh parsley

We begin to cook the pasta al dente since this takes the longest separate in a pan with hot water. Cut the onions and fry them with the bacon in salt and olive oil. Add the cooked pasta to this pan and take it off the fire. When the heat is off add a the stirred egg together with the rasp parmesan cheese on top of the pasta and bacon with onion and mix it gently.

Serve the pasta on a plate and top it off with salt & pepper, extra parmesan cheese and good olive oil.

Bon appetite.
