Today I decided to go to Boschendal for lunch and taste some wine.
Seated on the terrace overlooking the kitchen garden.
The menu is either 3,4 and 5 courses. From grilled leeks which were served with vichyssoise espuma which was magical. Fresh garden salad, flavours from the ocean and sides.
Fork tender slices of the beef coated carefully in the beetroot and madumbi flavours was exceptional. With the little fried onions to complement the rich flavours, it was a masterpiece.
Just enough to have some space for the Pasture course.
A perfect meringue pouff with a beautiful sweet-sour berry sorbet encased.
Jersey milk mousse, dulce de leche, malted sorbet, sable Breton.
Oh and don’t miss out on a visit to the ladies rooms, a decor paradise.
