
The flame with the cake, an experiment with success.
A dish what came to life while exploring the Alsace area and testing an oven for its temperature. Pretty cool experiment.
I hear you thinking this is a mini pizza, not quite. Its more than that. The savory taste of ingredients make it light to digest and are defined in the combination of their toppings. More like a gourmet kind of cake I would say.

Here is what we need to make it from scratch.
Ingredients:
the dough:
flower (2 cups)
yeast (0,5 sachet)
water (1 cup luke warm )
salt
Add the flour mix with water as written on the packaging. Let it do its magic to rise on a warm place like a heater for 10-15 minutes.
the bacon & leak version:
creme fresh
leak
bacon
red onions
olive oil & salt
parsley
the pear & blue cheese version:
creme fresh
a fresh ripe peer
blue cheese
olive oil & salt
parsley

Add all ingredients besides the parsley for each version in order on the thin rolled out in a small cake dough and heat it up in the oven for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them when they are gold and crunchy because they bake fast.
A perfect dish for a great night with friends and a good glass of wine or just as a snack in between that savory hunger.
