I’m not the only person who probably has this problem. Constantly on the move, scattered brain, incredibly messy and when I’m hungry, I’m hungry.
With all the travel that I have found myself doing the past couple of years, I often do not have time to have a proper meal which satisfies my taste buds.
Airport food, fast food, train snacks and no good choices available where I am when I’m hungry.
When I realized that this was happening I made the ultimate decision which was to put on my chefs hat and start making some homemade granola.
Full of all the vitamins and minerals that you need on a daily basis.
Here is the recipe of my homemade super crunch granola:
- plain oatmeal
- shredded flaxseeds
- chia seeds
- plain unsalted nuts of your choice (cashew nuts, almond nuts, walnuts)
- cranberries (sugar-free)
- sunflower seeds
- sesame seeds (roasted)
- cinnamon
- coconut oil
- agave syrup
- 2 tsp water
- Mix: oatmeal, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, crushed nuts, cinnamon
- Heat up: 2 tsp of coconut oil, 2 tsp of agave syrup, 2 tsp water
- Mix everything together and let everything bake for 15min at 200 degrees in the oven. Add a handful of each cranberries, flax, roasted sesame seeds and bake for another 5 minutes.
Let cool off, enjoy with fresh berries and some greek yoghurt for breakfast or as a snack in between your busy schedule.
Store in a glass jar to keep the aromas
Enjoy!
