welcome back to the World of Nine. I want to let you all know that on August 27th, 2021 my latest release “Can You Feel” alongside Stefan Addo will be out on my label 925 music. I started this project a few months ago to make a record that could allow me to express the emotions. The concern I have been feeling throughout the pandemic. The feeling of being trapped and having limitations to traveling and to move forward has been an ongoing conversation.
We have been separated from our loved ones, lost work, and our ability to gather has been ripped away from us.
This frustration and tension that we all have been feeling lead me to have a deep self-reflection about the climate we are living in. At that point, I decided it was time to express myself via the best way I know, MUSIC! “Can You Feel” is a self-exploration of the deeper sound of my creativity.
Traditionally I am known for being a house/progressive house artist. The current climate shows how humanity becomes a reflection of the environment we are in. With my love for cultures and not being able to travel. I presented the project to Stefan Addo who liked the idea and he gives the record a set of ears from a country that is deep in history, Turkey. “Can You Feel” has a driving bassline and more techno grooves that carry the record. In addition, we created a video with written thought-provoking lyrics to stimulate the senses. I intend to make you ask yourself “Can You Feel”?
